Wylde Gardening: Winter Sowing (IN PERSON 1PM – 3PM)

Winter is the perfect time to start your perennials from seed. Use the temperatures and the power of the sun to grow strong and healthy plants outside using a milk jug. Students will learn the basics of Winter Sowing, and will also sow out 6 different full sun perennials. Stephanie Van Parys, the Wylde Center Executive Director and horticulturist, has been using this method to start her perennials for over 10 years. All supplies are included.

Lunch & Learn will take place at Wylde Center’s Edgewood Community Learning Garden located at 1503 Hardee Street, Atlanta, GA 30307.
Please note: This program is not a webinar and will be hosted in-person at our Edgewood Community Learning Garden. Participants will be given the option to participate in a hands-on component. Attendance will be limited to 15 people. Please bring a mask to wear when needed.
