Slow, sensory experiences in the Sugar Creek garden, to explore rest and hibernation.
This month’s nature therapy gathering brings the community together for a mid-day slow down, exploring the concepts of rest and hibernation as we edge towards Winter. We will bring our attention to the earth around us at Sugar Creek – the cooling water, the crows, the bare branches of our trees, the waning moon – and connect with them in camaraderie and support.

Meet Julie of NorthSouthEast Nature & Forest Therapy
Julianne Mesaric is a certified nature therapy guide, trained with the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy. She is inspired by the philosophy of ecocentrism, the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing), and the relational framework of nature therapy. As a guide, Julie’s intention is to create the space for the radical act of slowing down outside, together in community.
