Lunch & Learn: Rebuilding Soil with Cover Crops (Webinar)

October 2, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

On Friday, October 2nd at 12 PM, learn all about rebuilding soil with crop covers with Wylde’s Executive Director and Horticulturist, Stephanie Van Parys, and Greenspace Director, Derek Pinson
The key to a successful garden is healthy soil that contains abundant organic material and a thriving ecosystem of earthworms, fungi, and microbes. But have you ever wondered how to improve your soil while growing nutrient-demanding vegetables year after year? The answer is cover cropping. One of the most important things you can do to keep your garden’s soil flourishing is to grow these very special, fast-growing plants that will eventually become next season’s foundation for robust food crops. Just as we feed ourselves with vegetables from our gardens, we feed our soil with cover crops! .
Webinar will be held Friday, October 2nd from 12 PM – 1 PM
