If you haven’t yet visited Wylde Center’s Hawk Hollow Garden, now is a perfect chance! Join Wylde Center Executive Director Jennifer Gerndt as she reconnects with her role as Trees Atlanta Docent in a tour of native trees at the Hawk Hollow Garden in the Kirkwood neighborhood.

Guests will learn some basics in tree identification, the benefits of native trees, and how this urban garden provides support for our environment through regenerative practices and safe habitats for our woodland friends. Additionally, you’ll learn more about how Wylde Center and Trees Atlanta work together to help urban greenspaces thrive. Fun fact: Hawk Hollow was Trees Atlanta’s first community space to be City Forest Certified!

This free event is a fun, easy stroll over an acre of urban greenspace.
