Description
Our urban green space serves as a demonstration garden, with fruit trees, vegetable & herb beds, native flowers, a treehouse play area, and a community center.
Eligibility
- Ages: 15+
Purpose
Volunteers are essential in maintaining and beautifying our public greenspaces. All Wylde Center gardens are heavily visited 365 days per year. We want to make sure everything looks great on each visit. (During inclement weather, we move indoors!)
Role
Our tasks change depending on our garden’s needs. We may be weeding, mulching, harvesting, or planting. Please wear closed toe shoes! We will provide work gloves and tools for the day’s work. Please bring a filled water bottle to quench your thirst.
