Edgewood Community Learning Garden

Students taking this class will learn about the varieties of basil that are high yielding and disease resistant in our area; learn about the Winter Sowing method by converting clear plastic containers such as milk jugs into mini-greenhouses; learn about the many ways students can use this method to grow their own plants from seed; sow out at least 4 types of disease resistant basil strains into their new mini-greenhouses; each student should expect to end up with at least 12 future basil transplants.…
